Yuanye Fang (Frank)

Born and raised in Beijing, Yuanye Fang has continued his career and craft in London, United Kingdom. His goal is to tell universal stories by making full use of his inspiration and knowledge in cinematography.

In 2016, at the University of Macau, Yuanye, as a Director of Photography, created, ‘Reach its Zenith’, a documentary-like short film reveals the status quo of the underground bands in Macao, and the 1st International Film Festival & Award Macao recognized as ‘Online Most Popular Award’ in its Short Film Competition.

In 2017, in Taipei, Taiwan, as an exchange student, Yuanye wrote, directed, and edited his first short film, "Leave Me Alone", which ignited his passion for film and planted a filmmaker dream.

After returning to Macau, Yuanye, continued pursuing his filmmaker dream, wrote and directed, ‘The Net’, and worked as cinematographer and screenwriter for ‘Redline’. Both of the films earned some high reputations in Macau.
